The Scala Institute, publisher of Principles and Practice of Clinical Research, is responsible for personal data collected through this website.

• What we collect. Names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID iDs and other details that users enter when registering, submitting, reviewing or editing.
• How we use it. Only to run the editorial and peer-review process, to communicate with users about the journal, and to publish and index articles. Author names, affiliations and ORCID iDs appear in published articles and are shared with DOI registration and indexing services, such as Crossref.
• What we do not do. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for any other purpose.
• Retention. Editorial records are kept for as long as needed to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
• Your rights. Users may ask to access, correct or delete their personal data, subject to the need to keep a record of published work, by writing to ppcr-journal@ppcr.org.
